The Nuremberg Moot Court 2021 opened on Monday 5 July

 

The Nuremberg Moot Court 2021 started on Monday 5 July at 12:30 CEST with the Opening Ceremony.

Professor Christoph Safferling, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, hosted the Ceremony.

A pre-recorded video of Klaus Rackwitz, Director of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy was played. 

The video was followed by the Keynote Speaker, Judge Ivana Hrdlicková, President of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

Finally, Natacha Bracq, Senior Officer for Training and Capacity Building, International Nuremberg Principles Academy and Philipp Gräbke, Research Assistant, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, International Criminal Law Research Unit, presented the competition and answered the Team's questions.
